LAMDA LSDE Level 5 Support offer

Hi all

It has come to my attention that some of you are looking for someone to help with your studies in becoming a LSDE trained LAMDA teacher and I thought if this is someone that you want to do I might be able to help you. In 2017 I will be running a online via Email support page  for anyone studying the LAMDA foundation degree. I will be working to provide some support as a course mentor and help some people to gain this tricky Degree. I have added the cost and fees below. As I will have to charge, however, I am the lowest provider around it seems.

LAMDA Diploma in Communication, Speech and Drama Education (LSDE)

Is designed to introduce communication, speech and drama as subjects and to deliver the skills necessary to teach these subjects.

It is ideal for teachers with existing qualifications who wish to specialise in communication and/or speech and/or drama. It is equally valuable for those who have specialist subject knowledge in these fields and who wish to develop teaching skills.

The LSDE is a multi-unit qualification and all units are compulsory.

To register for the LSDE, please complete a LSDE Registration Form and send it back to LAMDA, enclosing full payment for the qualification registration fee. To enter for the LSDE units, please complete a LSDE Unit Entry Form and send it back to LAMDA, enclosing full payment for the unit fee. Units can be entered for at any time and in any order once a learner has registered for the LSDE.

Unit 1 and Unit 2 requires the submission of a written assignment (Portfolio of Evidence). An examination session does not need to be booked. Two copies of the Portfolio of Evidence must be submitted to LAMDA for marking using the LSDE Unit Entry Form. Payment for the unit fee must be enclosed. A completed Assignment/Portfolio of Evidence cover sheet must be attached to each copy of the Portfolio of Evidence to confirm the authenticity of the learner’s work.

For Unit 3, to book the Assessed External Teaching Observation in the UK you must complete the Unit 3 section of the LSDE Unit Entry Form and send it back to LAMDA six weeks before the intended date of the observation. Payment of the Unit 3 fee must be enclosed. Once the form has been processed, you will receive confirmation from LAMDA of your Assessed External Teaching Observation date. Two copies of the Unit 3 Scheme of Work must be submitted to LAMDA for making a minimum of four weeks before the date of the Assessed External Teaching Observation. A completed Assignment/Portfolio of Evidence cover sheet must be attached to each copy of the Scheme of Work to confirm the authenticity of the learner’s work.

To book the Assessed External Teaching Observation internationally, the observation must be scheduled alongside an examination session when an examiner is in the country. Please contact LAMDA directly for more information.
